During a process, if an issue needs follow-up, users can raise an Action Point right from the question itself. This ensures that anything flagged during the workflow doesn’t get ignored — it becomes a task with its own assignee, priority, and due date.
Action Points can be raised in two ways:
- Manually, when the user actively chooses to trigger it
- Automatically, when it's pre-configured to trigger based on an answer
Filling a Manual Action Point
If the question supports manual action points, you’ll see a circular
⚪️ Action Point button next to it after answering.Tap that button to open the manual action point form.
Field | What You Need to Do |
Title | What is this action point about? |
Description | Add some details for context |
Store | Select the store where this issue applies |
Priority | Choose from Low, Medium, or High |
Attachments | (Optional) Upload a file or image for better clarity |
Assigned To | Pick the user who will complete this action point |
Closure Required From | Choose who should close the action point after it’s completed ↳ Can be initiator or custom user |
Once submitted, the action point is live and trackable on the dashboard.
Filling an Auto Action Point
If a question is configured with auto action point logic, you don’t have to fill anything extra. Just select your answer as usual.
If that option is mapped to trigger an action point, you’ll see a message like:
All fields — title, description, priority, assignee, and closure logic — are auto-filled based on the configuration set by the admin.
Fast, consistent, and zero effort for the submitter.
