Term / Abbreviation | Meaning |
SOP | Standard Operating Procedure. Step-by-step instructions to ensure store teams complete tasks consistently. |
Process | A structured checklist or workflow designed to standardize daily operations. |
Audit | A detailed compliance check with advanced scoring, pass/fail logic, and review levels. |
Checklist | A Process or an Audit can be called one checklist |
Action Point (AP) | A task created inside a process to resolve an issue. Similar to a ticket but always tied to a process. |
AP Summary | A consolidated report showing the status of all action points across locations. |
Ticket | A standalone issue raised outside processes. Used to log, assign, and track problems or requests. |
Assignee Profile | A reusable group of users, teams, or stores that can be assigned processes, audits, or courses in one go. |
Entity | A store, location, or business unit in Taqtics. |
Entity Tag | Custom labels used to group and filter entities (e.g., Region = North, Store Type = Cafe). |
Hierarchy | Role-based reporting chain (e.g., Store Employee β Store Manager β Area Manager β HO). |
Store Hierarchy | Restricts access and notifications to a userβs store-level reporting chain. |
Dynamic Assignment | Auto-assigning content (like a course, process, or audit) to users based on their role/designation. |
Creator Mode | Mode for Admins or Managers to build and configure processes, assets, audits, and more. |
Admin Studio | The admin panel where entities, users, tags, and system settings are managed. |
Noticeboard | A feature for posting updates, promotions, or announcements to store teams. |
Submission Report | A downloadable PDF or online report generated after a process or audit submission. |
Review Levels (L0, L1, L2) | Multi-level review workflow for processes or audits. For example: L0 = Store Manager, L1 = Area Manager, L2 = Head Office. |
Snapshot Email | Automated daily email summarizing submissions, completions, or compliance status. |
BI Dashboard | Business Intelligence dashboard showing performance trends by store, user, or audit. |
Asset Table | A structured table for storing and managing assets (e.g., equipment, licenses). Contains uniform fields for all asset items. |
Asset Item | An individual entry inside an Asset Table (e.g., a fridge, license, or cleaning checklist). |
Custom Asset ID | An optional organization-defined unique identifier for each asset item. |
Webhook | A real-time integration method to push Taqtics data (like process submissions) to external systems. |
2FA | Two-Factor Authentication β extra login security using an OTP sent via email. |
OTP | One-Time Password β a temporary code sent to verify login identity. |
SCORM | Sharable Content Object Reference Model. Standard format for eLearning modules (usually uploaded as a .zip). |
Quiz Bank | Central repository of quiz questions reusable across different learning modules. |
Assessment | A test created in Taqtics to measure knowledge, often linked to certifications. |
Certificate Settings | Admin configuration for certificates issued after passing an assessment. |
Default Course | Pre-assigned course that all new users in a specific role automatically receive. |
Implementation Phases | The 5-step rollout journey: Kickoff β Configuration β Go-Live β Deep Enablement β Handover. |
COF | Confirmation of Order Form β a signed form that officially kicks off implementation. |
POC | Proof of Concept β a trial setup shared during pre-sales to demonstrate Taqtics capabilities. |
Overtime | Extra working hours logged in Attendance beyond the configured daily working hours. |
Process Tags | Labels that group processes for easier filtering and reporting. |
User Tags | Custom labels linked to users, useful for segmentation or reporting (e.g., Yes/No, Region). |
Valid Email | A toggle when creating users. If enabled, users receive a verification link and set their own password. If disabled, a default password is assigned (useful for shared IDs). |
QR Code Access | A method for users to directly access and submit a process using a QR code. |
Trichy Workflow | A conditional workflow inside Taqtics for automating complex process flows. |
Go-Live | The phase where all users and stores actively start using Taqtics post-configuration. |
