What does Assign mean in Audit ?

Once you're done setting up your daily SOP or workflow in Taqtics, the next step is to assign it — basically deciding who needs to do it and where.
You can assign a Audit in 3 different ways:
  • By Store
  • By Individual Users
  • By Teams
All 3 options pull from the same dataset — it's just different ways of slicing the cake 🍰. Whether you assign from the store view, the user view, or the team view, the results stay in sync. You can easily switch between views without losing any data.
You can also update or delete assignees at any time from the same page. No rework, just simple edits.
📌

What is Assignee Profile

Assignee Profiles in Taqtics are like pre-saved user groups tied to specific stores — helping you quickly assign your Audites without repeating the same selections again and again.
Let’s say you have a fixed team of electricians who handle maintenance across 5 nearby stores. Instead of selecting these users and stores manually every time, you can save them as an Assignee Profile called “Electricians.” That way, the next time you assign a Audit, just pick the profile — done!

How to Create an Assignee Profile

Whenever you assign a Audit (whether by Stores, Users, or Teams), you’ll see an option right above the assignment section to Assignee Profile.
It’s that simple:
  • Choose your users and stores.
  • Enter your Profile Name & Click Save Profile.
  • Search and use your created profile from Existing profiles
  • Done!
📌 Once saved, your Assignee Profile becomes universally available across all assignment types in Taqtics — whether you're assigning a Process, Audit, or any other feature.

Assign by your Stores

Taqtics lets you assign any Audit directly to specific Stores in your account.
⚠️ Only stores already added to your account by your admin will be available in this list. How to add stores →

Step 1: Add Stores

Click on the + Add Entity button and select the stores you want to assign this Audit to.
Once selected, these stores appear in a list below.

Step 2: Use Quick Assign (Time-Saving Option)

Just under the Assignee Profile section, you’ll see a Quick Assign button. This helps speed up the assignment by either:
  • Quick Assign by Designation:
    • Choose a designation (e.g., Store Manager, Electrician, Floor Staff). All users with that role across the selected stores will be auto-populated.
  • Quick Assign to Users Outside Entity:
    • Use this when the user doesn’t belong to the selected store, but you still want them to fill out this Audit on behalf of that store.

Step 3: Manual Assignment (Optional)

Instead of using Quick Assign, you can also manually select:
  • A designation for each store
  • And from the users list, choose which individuals should receive the Audit
This gives you precise control when assignments differ store-to-store.

Assign by your individual Users

If you prefer to assign directly to specific users (instead of stores or teams), Taqtics lets you do that cleanly.
Switch to the Users tab, then click Add User. You’ll see a dropdown with users from your account.
Each selected user appears in a separate row for easy visibility.

Step 1: Add Users

Select all the individual users who should be responsible for filling this Audit. Each user will be listed in their own row.

Step 2: Assign Stores to Users

Now go to each user row and select which stores they should be responsible for. This makes sure they're only filling the Audit where relevant.

Assign Audit by your Teams

Want to assign your Audit to pre-defined teams instead of individual users or stores? No problem — Taqtics supports assigning by Teams too. Manage Teams in Taqtics →
Switch to the Teams tab under assignment and click ➕ Add Team.

Step 1: Pick an Existing Team

A dialog box opens showing all the teams that have been created by your admin.
Select the team you want and click Create Team under Action. That team is now added to your assignment table as a new row (e.g., Team 1).

Step 2: Assign Stores to the Team

Inside that team row, select the stores where the team will carry out the Audit.

Step 3: Create a New Team (If Not Preconfigured)

Didn’t find a team listed in the dialog?
Right above the existing list, there’s a section to select users manually from a dropdown of all users in your system. How to Add Users →
Pick the users, then click the Create New Team button just below that list.
