This section covers everything that’s shared across all BI dashboards — whether you’re working in Process & Workflow Dashboards or Ticket & Action Point Dashboards.
Dashboards in both places are powered by the same set of tools, and this section brings them together so you don’t need to repeat learning in two places.

What you’ll find here

Under Common to All Dashboards, you’ll get three dedicated pages:
  1. Chart Types → Learn about all 10 chart options (Bar, Group, Stack, Line, Pie, Heatmap, Table, Advanced Table, KPI, Label).
  1. Configuring Charts → Step-by-step guide to set up each chart: dimensions, filters, colors, dynamic rules, etc.
  1. Managing Dashboards → How to arrange, resize, download, reset, or save your dashboard.

Why this section matters

  • Unlike the Executive Dashboard (overall company view) or Reports (pre-defined grids), BI dashboards let you create custom visualizations for processes, tickets, or action points.
  • The chart tools here are universal — you configure them once, and the same logic applies whether you’re tracking SOP compliance or ticket resolution trends.
  • Think of this section as your toolbox: once you know these, you can use them inside both the father pages above.
