Filling an Audit to Update/Create Assets

Some audits in Taqtics are linked to asset tables. This means that while filling a checklist, you can:
  • Fetch details of an existing asset item directly into the audit (using Auto-Fill).
  • Update fields like expiry dates, licenses, or inventory counts in real-time.
  • Even create a new asset item (if your audit has been configured for Asset Creation).
This integration keeps your data consistent across modules β€” no need to jump between Assets and audits.

  • Ensures asset data is always up to date without duplicate work.
  • Lets you run calculations or validations inside the audit and capture them in the submission report.
  • Simplifies updates by allowing other assigned users to update asset items through audits (without exposing the master asset table).
